Multimedia Files

To view/play multimedia files on your hard drive or any mounted drives, click on the Computer button in the toolbar. Stimulus' primary file listbox will display all of your currently mounted drives and disks. To explore one, simply click on the left disclosure triangles to open drives and folders within.

Most mounted hard drives and removable media (both internal or external) are supported by Stimulus. From within Stimulus, you should be able to access multimedia files located on mounted drives such as Iomega Zip disks, Jaz disks, Peerless cartridges, CD-ROM/CD-R/CD-RW disks, iPod, Firewire drives, USB drives, floppy disks, etc.

To view/play a supported multimedia file, simply select it in the file listbox and it will load. To select tracks from a mounted Audio CD, click on the CD button in the toolbar. To select audio files from a mounted iPod, click on the iPod button in the toolbar.

If you discover a type of mounted drive or disk that Stimulus cannot read/access (just like your Mac can), then we encourage you to contact Customer Support and report the issue with a detailed explanation. Your kind effort will help us to make Stimulus a better product.
